Professional Pelvic Floor Training

There is one issue that is certainly often overlooked in the everyday life of your patients. It is an important topic and affects many people - the pelvic floor.
A weak pelvic floor can lead to incontinence and other functional disorders. The pelvic floor is especially strained when laughing, coughing, sneezing, running, jumping or lifting heavy objects. It should therefore be trained in a very targeted manner. Supportive guidance from a physiotherapist is particularly helpful. FREI medical offers you a pelvic floor trainer that has been specially developed for strengthening and improving the coordination of the pelvic floor muscles and treating functional disorders. Equipped with software support that is reproducible and valid. Evaluation & training in one device! More on this topic below in our "GOOD TO KNOW.

GOOD TO KNOW

Pelvic floor training for an important, often neglected muscle. The pelvic floor consists of three muscle layers as well as ligaments and connective tissue. The upper muscle layer is particularly strong and broad. It extends from the pubic bone to the coccyx. The middle layer spreads out in a fan shape between the two ischial tuberosities.
The lower layer runs like a figure eight around the orifices of the body. In women, it surrounds the urethra and vagina at the front, and the anus at the back in both sexes.
In men, the front part of the figure eight runs along the base of the penis. The perineum, which lies between the vagina or scrotum and the anus, is also part of the pelvic floor.
